Maybe you just moved to the Netherlands and you're looking for catholic formation possibilities and meeting other young adults. Or you're a future exchange student and would like to know if there is a catholic young adult community in the area of Breda.
Good news! Under the name 'Jong Bisdom Breda' ('Young Diocese Breda') young adults from across the diocese gather on a regular basis. There is a variety of activities being held, in different cities throughout the diocese. The activities are different every time, but usually include a few of the following aspects: celebrating liturgy and sacraments together, input on a specific topic, discussion, prayer, and of course fun time to informally get to know each other better. Next to the activities on diocesan level, there are also some parishes that offer young adult ministry.
Most of the activities and talks will be held in Dutch, but you are more than welcome to come. There is always someone who can try to translate, most Dutch speak English pretty well, and it is a great way of meeting other catholics and celebrating our faith together.
